Garth Gayle is the new president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), after defeating Jamaican sprinting great Donald Quarrie 236 to 28 at the body’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the National Arena on Saturday, November 28, 2020.  Gayle, who served as Honorary Secretary for the past 20 years, replaces Dr Warren Blake, who did not seek re-election.

The posts of Honorary Secretary and Director of Records were also contested, with the results as follows:
Honorary Secretary: Marie Tavares (210) emerged victorious over Anthony Davis (50)
Director of Records: Leroy Cooke (135) overcame the challenge of Wayne Long (121) to retain the post.
The other positions were uncontested.
