**Reminder: JAAA Annual Calendar Conference**

The JAAA annual Calendar Conference will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the headquarters of the JAAA, 6 Tremaine Road, Kingston 6. All Meet Organisers are invited to attend.

The conference is typically an all-day event, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The agenda will include presentations on the following topics:

  • The 2024 Track and Field Meet Calendar
  • Meet organisation and management
  • Volunteer recruitment and training
  • Risk management and safety planning
  • Marketing and promotion

There will also be ample time for networking and discussion.

This conference is an important opportunity for meet organisers to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the sport and to learn from each other. It is also a chance to meet with representatives from JAAA and other organisations that support the development of Track and Field in Jamaica.
