The JAAA has posted on social media and in periodicals, so here’s a reminder to the membership. Please read below.
The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 28, 2023, at 5:30 pm at The Karl Hendrickson Auditorium, Jamaica College. The keynote speakers will be the President and the Honorary Treasurer, and the Honorary Secretary will be the master of ceremonies. All members are invited to attend and participate in this yearly event.
The AGM is a private event and will not be televised, streamed, or otherwise broadcast to the public. Positions will not be voted on at this event, but amendments to the Constitution may be. Please make sure that you are a member in good standing before attempting to attend this event. Membership status will be checked at the entrance, and payment can be made at the same time.
The AGM is an important event for the JAAA, as it provides an opportunity for members to hear from the leadership team about the organization’s performance over the past year and to discuss plans for the future. It is also an opportunity for members to ask questions and voice their concerns.
The JAAA encourages all members to attend the AGM and to participate actively in the proceedings. Your input is important to the success of the Association.
**Here are some of the things that you can expect at the AGM:**
- A presentation from the President on the overall performance of the JAAA over the past year, including its financial performance, its success in competition, and its development programs.
- A presentation from the Honorary Treasurer on the financial performance of the JAAA over the past year.
- A question-and-answer session with the President and the Honorary Treasurer.
- A discussion of the JAAA’s plans for the future.
