The world’s premier track and field event, the World Athletics Championships, is set to take place in Tokyo, Japan, from September 13 to September 21, 2025. For Jamaican fans eagerly anticipating the action, it is crucial to remember the significant time difference between Tokyo and Jamaica.

Tokyo is 14 hours ahead of Jamaica. This means that a morning session in Tokyo will be happening in the evening of the previous day in Jamaica. To make it easier for fans to follow their favourite athletes, we have converted the official timetable to Jamaica time.

Important Note on Dates:
While the Championships officially start on September 13 in Tokyo, due to the time difference, the first events will begin on the evening of September 12th in Jamaica.
