The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport extends a warm invitation to all our athletes, coaches, and stakeholders to participate in the upcoming “I Love Jamaica Telethon and Concert Series“.

This national initiative seeks to support Jamaica’s recovery efforts following the significant devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. As representatives of the country’s premier sporting discipline, your presence and participation are essential in motivating the nation and encouraging global support for this critical relief effort.

The I Love Jamaica Telethon and Concert Series, presented by Red Stripe and powered by Digicel, will be held on Sunday, November 23, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event will air live on CVM TV and TVJ and will be streamed across several local and international digital platforms.

We kindly ask our elite athletes, emerging talents, coaches, and key stakeholders to lend their voices and influence to this cause whether through on-air features, digital engagement, social media promotion, or direct participation in the telethon. Your involvement will significantly amplify the message of resilience, unity, and national pride as Jamaica works toward rebuilding affected communities.

We also encourage Jamaicans at home and abroad to tune in and make a contribution. Every dollar raised will support disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts.

Further logistical details will be shared as needed. We ask that you confirm your participation at your earliest convenience.

Together, let us stand in solidarity and demonstrate the true spirit of Jamaica.
