KINGSTON, JAMAICA — In alignment with our 2025–2026 Grant for Growth framework, the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is excited to announce a comprehensive project to enhance and modernize our official digital platform, athleticsja.org. As the national governing body for athletics in Jamaica since 1910, our mission remains focused on the promotion, development, and regulation of track and field. To better serve our global community of athletes, coaches, and fans, we are seeking a visionary vendor to redesign our website into a world-class digital hub.

Why We Are Evolving

While our current site serves as a vital news hub, we recognize the need for more robust infrastructure. This project is specifically designed to solve several key challenges:

  • Performance & Stability: Upgrading hosting to handle high-traffic surges during championship registration periods.
  • Streamlined Administration: Eliminating manual verification by integrating robust registration and secure payment systems directly into the site.
  • Transparency: Establishing a “single trusted source” for official policies, sanction forms, and real-time results.
  • Inclusivity: Providing increased visibility for field events, ensuring all disciplines receive the recognition they deserve.

Key Project Goals

The successful redesign will deliver a modern, mobile-friendly experience on par with top international sports federations. Key enhancements will include:

  • Personalized Athlete Dashboards: A centralized space for athletes to manage entries and view results.
  • Interactive Event Calendars: A reliable public calendar featuring JAAA-sanctioned meets and their World Athletics status.
  • Automated Notifications: Real-time email or SMS alerts for deadlines and schedule changes.
  • Secure User Portals: Dedicated access for member clubs, officials, and administrative committees.

Call for Proposals

The JAAA invites qualified vendors to submit proposals that include a comprehensive timeline, cost breakdown, and list of deliverables.

  • Response Deadline: February 16, 2026.
  • Project Kickoff: March 9, 2026.
  • Target Launch Date: June 26, 2026.
