The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is pleased to announce that registration is now officially open for the 2026 JAAA/Puma National Junior & Senior Championships. Widely known as “The Trials,” this premier event remains the ultimate proving ground for Jamaica’s finest athletic talent.

Fans and athletes should save the dates: the championships will be held from June 18–21, 2026, at the National Stadium in Kingston.

New Registration Process for 2026

This year, the JAAA has introduced a more streamlined digital entry process. Due to the high volume of international competitions scheduled for this season, dedicated entry forms have been created for Juniors and Seniors.

How it works:

  • Verification: When you begin the entry process, the system will first verify your date of birth.
  • Automatic Direction: Based on your age, you will be automatically directed to either the Junior or the Senior registration form.
  • Junior Athletes in Senior Events: If a Junior athlete wishes to compete in a Senior category, they will not be able to do so via the standard Senior form. Instead, the athlete or their representative must contact the JAAA Competitions Chairman via email to formally make that request.

Integrity and Accuracy

The JAAA places the highest priority on the integrity of the National Championships. All athletes are strongly discouraged from providing incorrect or misleading information.

  • Double-Check: Please verify all personal data and performance marks before submitting your form.
  • Consequences of Deception: Any athlete found attempting to deceive the Association by providing fraudulent information may face immediate disqualification from the championships and potential legal action.

Athletes and coaches are reminded that the Entry Standards and the Order of Events currently posted on the website are the 2025 versions. These documents serve as a draft for the 2026 season and are subject to update or change without notice.
