The meticulous vetting process, diligently carried out by our team, has revealed a robust and diverse field of athletes, setting the stage for an unforgettable championship.

Key Technical Details and Highlights:

Impressive Participation: This year's championships boast a significant increase in participation. We have a confirmed total of 720 Approved Entries, marking a notable rise from the 647 entries recorded in 2024. This growth underscores the increasing enthusiasm and talent within Jamaican athletics. International Presence: Adding to the competitive spirit, 47 of the approved entries are Non-Jamaican athletes, highlighting the championship's growing international appeal and providing an excellent opportunity for local athletes to test their mettle against global talent. Record Number of Events: The 2025 championships will feature an unprecedented 104 Events on the Official Schedule/Order of Events. This is the highest number of events ever included, promising a packed and thrilling four days of athletics. The expanded schedule caters to a wide range of disciplines and age groups, ensuring comprehensive competition. Diverse Competition Categories: The championships will showcase talent across multiple age and gender categories, including:
  • Under 18 Male and Female
  • Under 20 Male and Female

Combined Events Participation: We are pleased to confirm entries for both the Decathlon and Octathlon events, promising compelling multi-discipline contests. However, there are no Heptathlon entries for this year's championships.   • Junior (Late Entry): $500 (standard) + $5000 (late) = $5500
  • Senior (Late Entry): $1000 (standard) + $5000 (late) = $6000
  • For entries submitted before June 15, 2025, 11:59 pm, the fees remain: Juniors - $500; Seniors - $1000.
Athletes are advised to contact the JAAA Office to confirm competition package pickup times and bring their confirmation email PDF as an added precaution.
