Managua, Nicaragua – July 5, 2025 – Jamaica has established a strong presence at the 5th NACAC U13 & U15 Championships, currently underway in Managua, Nicaragua, from July 5-6, 2025. After the first day of competition, the Jamaican team leads the overall standings, showcasing impressive performances across various categories. Jamaica concluded Day 1 at the top of the overall points table with a total of 15,482 points. This places them ahead of strong contenders like the Bahamas (15,122 points) and Barbados (15,102 points). Individual category highlights for Jamaica include:
  • Pentathlon Girls U13: Jamaica secured 2nd place with a combined total of 3,367 points.
  • Pentathlon Boys U13: The boys also demonstrated strong performance, earning 2nd place with 3,938 points.
  • Heptathlon Girls U15: Jamaican athletes in this category achieved 3rd place, accumulating 3,596 points.
  • Heptathlon Boys U15: The U15 boys delivered a notable performance, finishing 2nd with 4,581 points.
