There was no Jamaican winner at the Monaco Diamond League but the Jamaican participants exhibited relatively good form, bearing in mind that the IAAF World Championships are ten weeks away.

Intermediate hurdlers Janeive Russell (54.70) and Rushell Clayton (54.82) were 5th and 6th in the 400m hurdles in an event won by American Sydney McLaughlin in 53.32.

In the 800m for women, Natoya Goule ran a good 1:57.90 for second to American Ajee Wilson who won with 1:57.73.

In the sprint hurdles, Danielle Williams posted 12.52 for 2nd while Diamond League debutant Janeek Brown managed 12.71 for 4th to winner Kendra Harrison who ran 12.43.

Olympic champion Elaine Thompson (22.44) was second to Shanae-Miller-Uibo 22.09 in the 200m.

Shanieka Ricketts registered 14.67m for 3rd in the triple jump with countrywoman Kimberly Williams 4th with 14.56.
