Nomination – How to Serve?

The following excerpt is from the Constitution and outlines the nomination of individuals.

No person shall be elected to the office of a member of the Committee at any general meeting unless he, or some member of the Association intending to propose him has not more than twenty-one (21) days nor later than 6:00 p.m. on the tenth (10th) day before the meeting delivered to the Secretary of the Association a notice in writing duly signifying his candidature for the office or the intention of such member to propose him.

If you wish to serve the JAAA as an officer, The following applies to you;

  • You must be a member in good standing
  • And, present a written notice, endorsed/signed by another member in good standing to the Secretary of the Association.
  • The notice should be received no more than 21 days and no less than 10 days before the date of the AGM
  • All notices should be received before 6:00 pm on the 10th day before the date of the AGM
