The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is hosting the Carifta Trials at the National Stadium in Kingston from Friday, February 28 to Sunday, March 2, 2025. This is a crucial event for athletes hoping to represent Jamaica at the upcoming Carifta Games in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Dates:

Qualifying:
- The qualifying period is from March 3, 2024, to February 15, 2025. All performances entered will be checked and verified. Entering false performances will result in disqualification.
- JAAA reserves the right to use the JAAA/ISSA Ranking System to approve athletes who meet participation requirements but do not achieve qualifying standards.
Eligibility:
- Athletes born before 2006 and after 2011 are not eligible to participate.
Entry:
- Entries close at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.

Travel Considerations:
- Athletes travelling with their school team to the Penn Relays (April 24-26, 2025) should be aware that the return flight from Trinidad & Tobago may be on Tuesday, March 22nd, two days before the Penn Relays.
