JAAA PUMA Development Series Week #1

The Jamaica Athletics Administration Association has sought a permit from the Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development, to host a series of Development Meets to give our junior and senior athletes much-needed competition.

THERE WILL BE STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF ALL COVID-19 PROTOCOLS.

The Series will begin on Saturday, January 22 across 3 venues and will have specific events on offer. It is important that coaches pay careful attention to the details in order to best use the opportunities presented. In this COVID-19 era, compliance is paramount and athletes, coaches and managers will be held to a high standard in order to protect everyone and minimize the risk of being infected with COVID-19.

ALL ATHLETES, COACHES AND TEAM OFFICIALS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SERIES MUST SIGN A COVID-19 WAIVER.

Athletes under 18 years old must submit a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The waiver can be downloaded from the entry portals or from the JAAA website (https://athleticsja.org/). The signed waiver covers the athlete for the entire series and he/she only needs to submit it once. Any athlete who does not sign the waiver will be disqualified in the official results as they would not have completed the registration process.

The Registration Portal will open on Friday, January 14 and will close Monday, January 17 at 9:00 PM.
