Velocity Fest 17

Velocity Fest 17 is a World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger event.

Key features of Velocity Fest 17:

1. World Athletics Continental Tour – Challenger Event
2. National Stadium
3. Paralympic participants (4pm to 5pm)
4. Saturday, April 19, 2025
5. Total program 4pm to 8pm
6. Heats and Multiple Finals for the 100m
7. 200m, 400m, 800m (men), 100m hurdles, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump (men), shot put, discus, javelin (men).
8. Qualifying standards (PB) in effect (see Roster Athletics link for details) certain exceptions made for the top 8 track clubs in Jamaica.
9. Schedule (subject to change, events will only be contested if 3 or more athletes register and participate)
10. Entries close Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11:59 PM

Height Progressions – 2.00, 2.10, 2.15, 2.20, 2.25, 2.28, 2.31, 2.34

From the call room starting at 2 pm on the day of the meet.

Streaming:

A number of streaming services will be in place.

As you know, we do not charge an entry fee for athletes, coaches, and support staff. We do charge an entry fee for spectators of J$1,500. Do encourage as many people as you can to attend the meet in person.
