Here, you will find all the essential information regarding the upcoming championships, including schedules, standards, and event details. We encourage all eligible athletes to explore the page thoroughly and complete their registration to be a part of this premier event in Jamaican athletics.”

Athlete’s Entry Form Checklist
At the point when you’re ready to register, below are the main things to have and know about yourself beforehand.
- PhotoA clear photo of yourself with a white background. Passport format is preferred. World Athletics required
- Email AddressYour email address and not your coach’s email address. World Athletics required
- Phone NumberYour phone number and not your coach’s phone number. World Athletics required
- Mailing/Postal AddressThe address of the place where you receive mail or currently live. World Athletics required
- Health SpecificsPlease know your Height, Weight & Blood Type for registration.
- Event VerificationSeason’s Best, including the Date and Name of Meet that you achieved your Season’s Best.
- International AirportNearest International Airport is the Airport that’s closest to you, allowing you to travel internationally.
- Jamaican PassportYou must have a Jamaican Passport to represent the country. Please know your passport number, issue date and expiration date.
- Passport Bio Page Make a scan or take a clear photo of the photo page of your passport. This can be an image file (jpg, png, gif, tiff, bmp) or a PDF.
- Visas & Travel PermitsThe Issue & Expiration Dates for all Visas and Travel Permits you currently hold. This information could assist with fight arrangements.
About the National Championships

Date
The JAAA/Puma National Senior & Junior Championships (aka. The Trials) will be held the last weekend in June. The proposed date for the National Championships is shown.
The Entry Deadline is June 15, 2025, at 11:59 pm, Jamaica Time.
The Late Entry Deadline is June 19, 2025, at 11:59 pm, Jamaica Time, and attracts an additional $5000. No more entries will be accepted thereafter. The form will close automatically at the specified time.
We have provided a DRAFT Order of Events (2025) for your convenience. Please check back frequently as it is subject to change.
Registration Fees
Athletes pay a nominal fee for entry. Payment is due before or on pickup of the competition package at the JAAA Office, or at the Call Room, Stadium East after the competition starts.
Entry Standards
There are entry standards to participate in the National Championships. Please note: Each entry is subject to review by the Competitions Committee and may be rejected if the event entry standards are not met. The standards change from year to year, and with the upcoming major event, please check back often.Â
Selection
This year’s National Championships will be used to select teams for the following;
- World Athletics Championships – September 13-21, 2025. Tokyo, (JPN).
- NACAC U18/U23 Championships – July 18-20, 2025. TBA
- Asuncion 2025 Junior Pan American Games (Pan American U20 Athletics Championships) – August 9-23, 2025. Asuncion, (PAR).
Participate to make a Team
Athlete Support Personnel
Athletes are supported by a variety of people. If you are one of those people currently assisting a participating athlete, click the button below to request your Accreditation ID Card (AIC) for the National Championships. You may be required to log in or sign up for an account to request your AIC.
The following persons assisting a participating athlete are eligible for an AICÂ for the National Championships.
Please note that your request is not a guarantee. AICs will be issued on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of the LOC.
- Coach
- Manager/Agent
- Massage Therapist
- Media Personnel
- Medical Personnel
- Physiotherapist
- Publicist
- General Support Personnel
Please note, your AIC will have access limited to the Warm-up area (Stadium East) and Bleachers Seating.
Media/Press Personnel
If you are a member of the Media/Press, click the button below to request your Accreditation ID Card (AIC) for the National Championships.
The following persons are eligible for an AICÂ for the National Championships.
- Reporter
- Photographer
- Commentator
- Social Media Personnel
- Producer
- Reporter/Photographer
Please note, your AIC will have access limited to the Media Centre (Grandstand – inline with the Finish line) or Mixed Zone (Cycle Track).
Please note that your request is not a guarantee. AICs will be issued on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of the National Championships Organising Committee.
Absolutely NO Unauthorised Video recording of the Competition is permitted. Violators will be immediately removed from the venue and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Production Personnel
If you are a member of a Production Team, click the button below to request your Accreditation ID Card (AIC) (via email) for the National Championships.
