September 13, 2026 – Jamaica finished the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championships with three medals: a silver from Oblique Seville in the 100m, a silver from the Mixed 4x100m relay and a bronze from Nickisha Pryce in the 400m. The three came on the first two days with none on the final day.

400mH final:

Sanique Walker ran a second personal best in two days, posting 53.71 from lane eight to finish fifth. Rushell Clayton finished eight with 54.32. American Jasmine Jones won the event on 52.45.

Men’s 200m semis:

Bryan Levell ran well to qualify for the final in third position with 20.08. However, Christopher Taylor could only manage sixth with 20.36 and failed to advance.

Women’s 200m semis:

Lavanya Williams ran from lane one to finish seventh in 23.10. In semi-final two, Ashanti Moore ran a personal best 22.30 to finish second and advanced to the final.

Mixed relay final:

The quartet of Zandrion Barnes, Shana Kaye Anderson, Assinie Wilson and Stacy Ann Williams finished sixth with 3:11.46. The event was won by the Americans in 3:08.32.

Men’s 200m Final:

Levell was just able to better his performance in the semi-finals and finished sixth with 20.07.

Women’s 200m Final:

After posting a personal best in the semi-final, Moore was unable to return to that high and finished sixth with 22.34.

Men’s high jump:

Romaine Beckford finished fifth with 2.26m.

Women’s Triple Jump:

Ackelia Smith was fifth with 14.23m.
